On June 5th, our three reading programs begin:
Adult: Read and fill out your reading log to see which part of town reads more.
Teen: For ages 13-18. Complete 6 tasks on the gameboard and win a flash drive and an invite to the End of Summer reading party.
Children: Birth -13. Read or have books read to you for 8 hours and win a sketchbook or Giants tickets or a book.

Documentary Screening: Destination: Rossport, Ireland

In 2005, several men from Rossport, Ireland were sent to jail for 94 days as a consequence of not allowing Shell Oil to put a gas pipeline through their land. In part 2 of his Global Economic Documentary Series, filmmaker Jim Kerns goes to Rossport - a remote town in the northwest of Ireland - to examine this conflict and the socio-economic implications involved.

Museum Passes for Families for Free!
The San Francisco Public Library has just started a new program for families that live in San Francisco. You can now check out a Family Pass to Enjoy FREE Admission to 18 Participating Attractions.
Every library has one pass for each location. You get to check out a pass for one week, which will entitle 1 to 2 adults accompanied by 1 to 4 children in for free.
